Ela Minus is gearing up to release her second album, “DIA”, on January 17 via Domino. The Colombian electronic musician has just dropped “BROKEN”, a new single with a self-directed video. This track follows the previously released “Combat” and showcases Ela’s growth since her 2020 debut, “acts of rebellion.” “DIA” blends innovative production with deeper self-reflection, and Ela spent three years crafting song snippets across various locations. “BROKEN” features lively synths and tackling themes of suffering and resilience.
As Ela puts it, ”I started writing this thinking I was perfectly fine and finished writing knowing I was not”.
